I know you are looking for categories for your new directory. It is not considered good to copy categories from other directories/resources as this will result in having more duplicate data on internet and google will start penalizing websites which have duplicate contents, but still if you want to populate your categories table immediately without any hardwork, I have a sql script for inserting 700 categories into your database.



I had picked this from some website providing category dump for PHPLD script and thought of converting it to Sitesift format.
